Cats are known to be stubborn creatures, up there with donkeys and middle aged men. So you can imagine that a story about a feral feline who stubbornly rejected hooman efforts to become a cat child, can become quite darn wholesome when the cat finally gives in and learns to love the luxury lifestyle that has been waiting for them.

Feral cats are often discussed amongst the cat lovers who frequently feed the felines in their area. It is a topic of hot debate with many feeling as though feral life is the cats inelieable choice, while others feel that feral cats simply do not know how good the indoor life can be and so sometimes it take a little coaxing to get them to buy into the concept. I cannot say where I stand on this issue as I believe cats are too unique to be put into any kind of categories. But what I do know is that the pawrents in this story were most concerned with being able to continue caring for the cat they had come to love. And seeing as circumstances had changed in a way where being their feral feline would simply no longer work, it was the right move to make to turn this wild cat into a creature of home comfort.

As far as i'm concerned the well being of a cat is mostly within their own purview, but in special cases such as house moves where you know their quality of life will take a drastic turn because you are not there, the regular rules do not apply. Because whether the cat will admit it or not they love you too, and losing you will hurt them as much as you losing them. So while you might not be able to get on all fours and negotiate in native cat to encourage your feline to come along willingly. You can set up as many traps and tarps as possible to capture the catto and bring it with you.

Goodness the emotion coming off this cat lover is palpable. The pain they have already been through mixed with the pain they fear will soon come from making such a big move is rather heartbreaking. I can, as I’m sure many of you cat lovers can relate to the feeling of losing or leaving behind a feline you have grown to love and care for. It is a hopeless feeling and one which makes you wish you could speak cat so you could at least try to reason with the stubborn feline in their native tongue. Though I would not be surprised if cats are even more arrogant and stubborn in their native tongue.

Oh wow, honestly that right there is some seriously crafty work. Tricking a cat is no easy feat, as you saw earlier these guys and gals were doing everything the book recommends to do. Nothing worked. But they remembered that sometimes with a cat you just have to go full force, cover all exits and hope that you are quick enough and strong enough to make the grab when you have the chance. Not to mention keep holding on until it is done, as you saw in this story, the kitty almost got away when she got up on the roof.
